Target Oral Care Gift Card Deal Is A GO! Lots of FREEBIES!
The buy select oral care items at $5.99, get a $5 gift card, as advertised in this weeks ad, is a go at Target! The system has been fixed to prompt a gift card after EACH item is scanned! It seems to include all of the $5.99 oral care items found in the bulk section near the seasonal department. In addition to the FREE Crest and Oral-B toothbrush packs, you can pick up FREE 2-packs of Colgate Optic white after $1/1 found in the 4/14 SS and $5 gift card, and FREE 1.5 L Listerine after $1/1 printable and $5 gift card
Crazy Target Trip, $11.09 Money Maker
Word is that the deal is being honored, as stated in the ad! :)
Drama at Target today! Target's ad advertises a FREE $5 gift card when you buy any oral care item pictured. The picture included 3 packs of Crest toothpaste and 4 packs of Oral B. The items are $5.99 each and we have $1/1 coupons, so these items would net FREE. I got my butt up early and ran to Target! I got there about 5 minutes after they opened and the oral care aisle was packed. Someone had grabbed the few packs of toothbrushes available and 3-packs of Crest were nowhere to be found. There was an employee doing some stocking and he had no idea if they had any.
I decided to run over to customer service. The customer service lady was clueless and called the manager. Apparently the manager had already been attacked by others because it took her a good 10 minutes to come over. They both tried calling around to find the items. Finally, the manager figured out there 12 packs of the toothpaste in the store, but she had no idea where. That's when I remembered the bulk area in the back of the store and asked if that might be there. The CS lady seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. Really?!?! The manager called back, but I decided to run back myself. I was so excited to find the items. (NO thanks to the THREE employees.) Seriously, a manager and a CS employee don't know their store? Anyway...
I go to checkout and of course the gift cards are not prompting. It appears this is a typo because it prompts after 3 items. A lady the next aisle over had gotten her items because the manager okayed it. Of course my cashier is saying it has to be a mistake, blah, blah, blah. The manager called to make sure there had not been an urgent message from corporate saying it was misprint. There had not, so finally I got my items (as did some others waiting.)
In all the craziness, the manager and cashier working on my order seemed to have only rang up 9 items. I don't even feel bad with the lack of customer service and complete attitude I was given. I'm happy with my money maker! Here's what it looked like:
4 Crest 3-packs, $5.99 each
Used 4 $1/1 from 4/28 P&G
7 Oral-B 4-packs, $5.99 each
Used 4 $1/1 from 4/28 P&G
Used 3 $1/1 from 3/31 P&G
Subtotal: $43.91 (didn't ring 2 items), Total: $43.91...just noticed it says no tax. Very weird. Paid on gift cards.
Got back 11 $5 gift cards ($55)

Target Shopping, $4.14 + Pinterest Recipe
Target has Stove Top Stuffing on price cut for just $1. Use the $1/2 coupon from the 12/9 SS to score it for just $.50 a box!
I got 8 boxes, used 4 coupons and paid just $4.14! These should last me for the year until the next stock up time on stuffing!
Need a recipe for all that Stove Top...well, thanks to Pinterset, I have a great one for you!
Pictured above is my original "pin," courtesy of Best Life 4 Moms! The recipe is for Cheesy Broccoli Chicken Foil Packs. It's a super easy recipe (my favorite). All you need to do is mix your stuffing mix with 1 1/4 cups water; then plop it on 4 separate pieces of foil. Add a boneless chicken breast, a cup of broccoli, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, bacon (optional), and a tablespoon of Ranch dress to each. Loosely fold up the sides to seal and cook at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes!
Above is my completed dinner! It tasted great!
