Update: I asked about this promotion on Old Navy's Facebook page. Here's what they wrote:
"Hi Erin! Call your local store to see if they are offering this. They will be able to provide details. Just check the Store Locator at oldnavy.com for phone numbers. Thanks for your interest! Kathy@CustomerRelations"

Today while at Old Navy, I got a flyer titled "The Mega Deal Bag" with my receipt. It says "The morning of July 9 $20 scores you a treasure-filled mystery bag! Original value $100-$125, markdown value $40-$45. Plus, a chance to win $1,000 or a $50 shopping spree in every bag! All Sales Final. Limit 2 bags per customer."
Then of course there's a bunch of fine print. I haven't found any details online yet, but I wanted to give you a heads up!
