If you stop by CVS this week, be sure to scan your card at the coupon machine!  I got a $1 off any toothbrush coupon!  Select Colgate toothbrushes are $2.99 with a $2 ECB back.  After coupon, pay $1.99 and get back the $2 ECB!  The ECB is a limit of 2, so I'm hoping to score another coupon later this week! :)

There is currently a catalina deal going on Oscar Mayer lunch meat.  Through 6/10, get $2 OYNO when you buy 3, $3 OYNO when you buy 4, or $4 OYNO when you buy 5.  You can view more details, as well as stores included in this catalina promo here.

Dominick's (Safeway) has the 2 oz. Oscar Mayer snack size on sale for $.99.  I bought 5 for a $4.95 ($5.04 after tax).  I got back a $4 catalina.  That works out to a net cost of $1.04 for 10 oz. of lunch meat!  I plan to roll the $4 catalina on 5 more packages, which will make my out of pocket expense for future transactions only $1.04.  I got the last 5 packages in stock today though.  Luckily this runs through June 10!

Bizarre Dominick's Shopping Trip, $2.05

It's no secret that Dominick's and I are NOT friends.  They do, however, pull me in with some good deals and freebies now and again.  Today was no different.  It started with a simple mission, which inevitably turned into a headache, but in a strange change of events, turned out not too bad!

The Mission:
Buy 2 Simply Orange Juices for $1.48 each after rain check and coupons, a 3lb Box of Jenni-O Turkey Burgers for $3.49 after Just4U and coupon, and a Starbucks Refreshers (Free on my Just4U).

The Headache:
After about 45 minutes in the store searching for the 3 things on my list (which included 2 trips to customer service and 2 trips back to the aisles to get things I was told they had that they didn't), I found that I was trading in my last rain check for 2 new rain checks.

The Outcome:
After rain check and coupons, my 2 bottles of Simply Orange came to $3.05.  At the self-checkout I was venting (okay, complaining) about how I spent 45 minutes there and was just using a rain check for something they didn't have last time and getting 2 new ones for items they don't have this time.  I was actually given a sincere apology and told to grab a bouquet of flowers on my way out for the trouble!  ...And to top things off, apparently someone left their Catalina coupons because there was one for $1.00 off you next shopping order hanging out of the machine!  So my final net cost was only $2.05!

Here's the deal: Through 5/26, buy a Jonathan Adler Designed Roll Cover with bonus roll of Cottonelle for $1.99 and get back $1.99 ECB.  Now most people have reported finding these on end caps.  I finally found them at one of my local CVS stores in the toilet paper aisle, with no mention of the ECB deal.  I decided to try anyway.  Sure enough the $1.99 ECB printed!  It's advertised as a limit of 1, but if you buy them in separate transactions, they've been working for 4!   Buying them separately works out because you can roll the ECB from the roll before to pay for the next...and the next...and the next.  I paid $.16 tax for each, so a total of $.64!
