How to Translate Coupon Abbreviations


Below are some of the more common coupon abbreviations you may come across in your couponing adventures!

B1G1 or BOGO = Buy One, Get One Free
ECB = Extra Care Bucks (Issued at CVS)
GM = General Mills (newspaper insert)
IP = Internet Printable
MC or MQ or Mfr. = Manufacturer’s Coupon
MIR = Mail in Rebate
OOP = Out of Pocket
OYNO = On Your Next Order
PG or P&G = Procter and Gamble (newspaper insert)
Q = Coupon
RP = Red Plum (newspaper insert)
RR = Register Reward (Issued at Walgreens)
SS = SmartSource (newspaper insert)
UPC = Universal Product Code
WYB = When You Buy
